For the past three years GSES has brought together the most innovative ideas, thinking and practices with the aim of encouraging real action and to help our industry to adopt best sustainable event management practices. Now firmly established as the place where corporate brands, agencies, venues and suppliers meet to engage, GSES has been supported and attended by many industry partners.

With the UN sustainability goals and the adoption of the universal climate change agreement from the COP 21 driving the global agenda, the format of GSES is changing in 2016.

Through thought-leadership research projects over the next four months, and the live Summit later in the autumn, GSES will help to highlight the perceived ‘knowledge gap’ between what the industry is actually doing and what it needs to do.

With the support of the existing GSES Community, and global not-for-profit organisation Positive Impact, industry expertise, ideas and resources will be gathered and research will be activated to ensure a cross industry collaborative approach. The findings of this research will then be exclusively revealed at the live Summit in the autumn.
